Config sharing
Hand your game profile to a friend as a file or a QR code.
No setup In 2.0Available in 2.0. Install it from the Extensions tab.
A config is your profile for one game: which tweaks are on and how they are set. Hand it to somebody as a file or as a code on the screen, and take theirs the same way. Nothing is uploaded: this app hosts nothing.
Taking a stranger’s config changes settings on your phone, so this extension stays hidden until you have read what it does and switched it on.
Highlights
See before you take
The import screen shows who made it, their note, and every tweak that would change, before anything is written.
Merge or replace
Add their tweaks to yours, or take theirs whole.
Always undoable
Your profile is kept first. Undo is on the import screen and the share screen.
File, link or QR
Send a .glpack file through any chat app, open one from an https link, or scan a QR code of a profile.
Set it up
- In the app open Settings › Config sharing, read the text and switch it on.
- Install Config sharing, which now shows in the Extensions tab.
- To share: open a game’s profile and tap Share. To take one: open the .glpack file, a link, or scan the code.
Using it
Where configs travel
Our community is the place to swap them. Packs are files you send yourself: there is no gallery to upload to.
What it needs
| Permission or access | Why |
|---|---|
| Privileged access | Only for tweaks in the pack that need it. |
Limits
- Unknown tweaks are dropped and numbers are clamped to each tweak’s range.
- Game settings inside a pack are applied only when you choose to, after an automatic backup.
