Getting started

Install the app, find your way around the three tabs, and add your first extension.

Install

  1. Get Gamers GLTool Pro from Google Play.
  2. On first start the app walks you through a short setup. Players of the old app see what changed first.
  3. The setup offers privileged access. It is optional: skip it now and set it up later from Settings.

The three tabs

Home shows your phone right now: battery, temperature, memory and the display, live in the top card. Below it are your active extensions and the assistant, which answers questions such as “why not 120?”.

Game Mode is your game library. Each game has a profile: what changes while you play it.

Extensions lists the optional tools. Each one is downloaded from Google Play only when you install it, so the app stays small.

Your first extension

  1. Open the Extensions tab.
  2. Tap an extension to read what it does and what it needs.
  3. Tap Install. Google Play downloads it in a few seconds; no restart needed.
  4. Overlays ask for Display over other apps the first time you switch one on.

What needs access and what doesn’t

Game Mode, the match report, the recorder and network measurements work without any setup. Reading the frame rate of a game and changing settings such as the refresh rate need privileged access, which you can give in one of three ways: wireless debugging, Shizuku or root.
