Use root
Rooted phones get everything the shell gets, plus CPU, GPU and thermal profiles.
Set up
- In the app open Set up access and choose Root.
- Your root manager asks whether to allow the app. Allow it, and tick “remember” so it doesn’t ask every time.
What root adds
- CPU and GPU governors and thermal profiles in a game’s profile, put back when the game closes.
- The strength slider of Color boost.
- Backups of settings kept in a game’s private storage.
Root keeps working after a restart.
